Preheat oven to 190°C. Line baking trays with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.

Mix in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until smoothly combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and beat until just combined. The dough will be very sticky.

Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Drop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking trays, spacing at least 5 cm apart.

Bake for 9–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
