Cook 1.5 cups of uncooked rice according to package directions in a rice cooker or a pot on the stove. Set aside for serving.

Shred the carrots, chop the onions, mince the garlic, and cut the broccoli into bite-size florets.

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until onion becomes translucent, about 1–2 minutes.

Add ground turkey to the pan. Use a wooden spatula to break the meat apart while cooking. Continue until turkey is no longer pink.
