# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
03 - 1.5 cups white onion, chopped
04 - 450 grams lean ground turkey
05 - 1 cup carrots, shredded
06 - 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
07 - 1 cup frozen peas
08 - 360 millilitres teriyaki sauce

→ Optional Serving

09 - 4 cups cooked rice

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Cook 1.5 cups of uncooked rice according to package directions in a rice cooker or a pot on the stove. Set aside for serving.
02 - Shred the carrots, chop the onions, mince the garlic, and cut the broccoli into bite-size florets.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until onion becomes translucent, about 1–2 minutes.
04 - Add ground turkey to the pan. Use a wooden spatula to break the meat apart while cooking. Continue until turkey is no longer pink.
05 - Add chopped broccoli, shredded carrots, and frozen peas. Stir to combine. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3–4 minutes until broccoli is just tender.
06 - Pour teriyaki sauce over the mixture. Stir thoroughly and cook for another 1–2 minutes, allowing the sauce to heat through.
07 - Scoop cooked rice into bowls. Top with the teriyaki ground turkey mixture. Serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For added freshness, garnish with sliced spring onion or toasted sesame seeds before serving.
