# List of Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 450 g white button mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1.25 cm thick
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 3 cloves garlic, finely minced

→ Flavorings

04 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon oregano, dried or fresh
07 - 0.5 teaspoon dried tarragon
08 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
09 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
10 - 0.25 teaspoon chili powder, optional
11 - Salt, to taste

→ Garnish

12 - Fresh parsley or chives, chopped

# How to Prepare:

01 - Gently wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to clean without soaking. Slice into thick pieces, approximately 1.25 cm, to retain texture during cooking.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and swirl to coat. Arrange mushrooms in a single layer without overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary. Sauté for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown on both sides.
03 - Reduce heat to medium and add remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, oregano, tarragon, paprika, black pepper, and optional chili powder. Toss mushrooms to evenly coat. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to absorb flavor, seasoning with salt if needed.
04 - Transfer cooked mushrooms to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives. Serve immediately while the garlic butter sauce remains warm and glossy.

# Additional Information:

01 - Substitute cremini or portobello mushrooms for a heartier dish.
02 - Cook mushrooms in batches for proper browning; avoid overcrowding the pan.
03 - Add garlic towards the end of cooking to preserve its aroma and prevent bitterness.
04 - Vary herbs such as thyme, rosemary, or basil for unique flavors.
