01 - 4 bone-in pork chops, approximately 1 inch thick

→ Marinade

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - Zest and juice of 1 lemon
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
08 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

10 - Lemon wedges
11 - Extra fresh parsley

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, rosemary, oregano, parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
02 - Rub the marinade evenly over each pork chop. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 4 hours refrigerated.
03 - Heat a cast iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
04 - Place pork chops in the hot skillet and sear for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
05 - Remove pork chops from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Resting the pork chops after cooking allows juices to redistribute for improved tenderness and flavor.
