Red Wine Slushie Mix (Printable Version)

A chilled blend of red wine, mixed berries, and ginger ale for a refreshing frozen treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 4 cups frozen mixed berries (raspberry, blueberry, blackberry), plus extra for garnish

→ Liquids

02 - 25.4 fl oz sweet red wine (such as Moscato)
03 - 12 fl oz ginger ale

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Place the frozen berries and entire bottle of sweet red wine into a blender.
02 - Blend until the berries are finely pureed and fully incorporated with the wine.
03 - Pour the ginger ale into the blender and pulse gently to combine without losing carbonation.
04 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, using a spatula to press the liquid through and discard the berry seeds.
05 - Transfer the strained mixture into a 9x13 inch freezer-safe dish and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight for optimal texture.
06 - Scrape the frozen mixture into granules using an ice cream scoop. Divide into four wine glasses and garnish with fresh berries before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a longer-lasting slushie texture, freeze overnight to allow the mixture to solidify fully.
