In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, grated parmesan, garlic powder, and dried Italian seasoning. Mix thoroughly until smooth and homogeneous.

Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over one side of each bread slice. Place the slices, buttered side up, on a tray while you prepare the fillings.

For each sandwich, place one bread slice buttered side down in a skillet over medium-low heat. Layer one slice of mozzarella, six pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella, six more pepperoni slices, and a third slice of mozzarella on top. Finish with a second bread slice, buttered side up.

Cover the skillet with a lid and cook until the bottom is golden brown, approximately 3–5 minutes. Gently flip the sandwich and cover again, cooking until the opposite side is golden and the cheese fully melts.

Repeat grilling with remaining sandwiches. Serve hot with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
