Set oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) to prepare for baking.

Unroll crescent dough and slice 4 triangles into thin strips approximately 1/4 inch wide for wrapping.

Wrap each precooked meatball with 1 or 2 dough strips, stretching and anchoring the dough to create an irregular mummy bandage appearance. Repeat until all meatballs are covered.

Arrange wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until meatballs are heated through and dough is golden and crisp.

Punch or slice small circles from pepperoni, or prepare alternative edible decorations for the eyes.

Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, then stick two pepperoni eyes on each meatball using a small dab of sauce or water as adhesive.

Serve warm, plated atop cooked pasta or accompanied by preferred dipping sauce.
