Halloween Mummy Meatballs (Printable Version)

Juicy meatballs wrapped in dough for a festive, spooky treat. Perfect for Halloween gatherings and parties.

# What You'll Need:

→ Meatballs

01 - 16 precooked meatballs, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter

→ Dough Wrapping

02 - 4 triangles crescent roll dough (half of one 8-count package)

→ Eyes

03 - 3 slices pepperoni, cut into small circles
04 - Alternative options: sliced olives, mustard dots, ketchup, or small pieces of peppers

→ Serving

05 - Dipping sauce of choice (such as marinara, pesto, Alfredo, barbecue sauce, cheese sauce, or sweet and sour sauce)

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) to prepare for baking.
02 - Unroll crescent dough and slice 4 triangles into thin strips approximately 1/4 inch wide for wrapping.
03 - Wrap each precooked meatball with 1 or 2 dough strips, stretching and anchoring the dough to create an irregular mummy bandage appearance. Repeat until all meatballs are covered.
04 - Arrange wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until meatballs are heated through and dough is golden and crisp.
05 - Punch or slice small circles from pepperoni, or prepare alternative edible decorations for the eyes.
06 - Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, then stick two pepperoni eyes on each meatball using a small dab of sauce or water as adhesive.
07 - Serve warm, plated atop cooked pasta or accompanied by preferred dipping sauce.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Ensure each dough strip is thin enough to crisp evenly while avoiding overlapping too much, which can affect texture.
