In a small bowl, whisk the egg and green gel food coloring until fully blended.

Using a handheld mixer on low speed, blend sugar cookie mix, all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, and egg mixture in a large bowl for 2 to 3 minutes until thick dough forms.

Scoop 1½ tablespoons of dough with a 1½-inch cookie scoop, flatten into a 3-inch disc, place a Hershey’s Kiss upright in the center, then carefully wrap sides around the candy and shape into a ball.

Arrange dough balls in the prepared muffin pan, keeping Hershey’s Kisses upright. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until dough is set but not browned.

Immediately place one heart candy sprinkle offset to the right from the center atop each cookie. Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
