Carrots tossed in garlic butter and herbs deliver a quick, elegant side for weeknights or special gatherings.

# List of Ingredients:

01 - 45 grams unsalted butter
02 - 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
03 - 1 shallot, finely minced
04 - 450 grams medium carrots, peeled and cut into 8 mm diagonal slices
05 - 15 millilitres red wine vinegar
06 - 6 grams granulated sugar
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon leaves, finely chopped
10 - Kosher salt, to taste
11 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Prepare:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and shallot, then cook while stirring frequently until aromatic, about 2 minutes.
02 - Add the carrot slices and stir to evenly coat with the butter and aromatics. Cover the skillet and cook, stirring once, until the carrots are just tender, 4 to 6 minutes.
03 - Pour in the red wine vinegar and sprinkle in the sugar. Stir well to incorporate.
04 - Remove from heat and add the chopped dill, parsley, and tarragon. Season to taste with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir thoroughly to combine.
05 - Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately while hot.

# Additional Information:

01 - Cutting carrots on the diagonal increases surface area, enhancing flavor absorption.
02 - Add fresh herbs after cooking to preserve their bright color and aroma.
