# What You'll Need:

→ Seafood

01 - 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch pieces

→ Seasonings

02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Oils and Fats

04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

→ Herbs and Aromatics

06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

→ Acid

08 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Cut salmon into 1-inch pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add salmon pieces and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes. Turn pieces with tongs and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
03 - Reduce heat to medium-low. Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned. Remove skillet from heat.
04 - Return salmon to the skillet. Add lemon juice and chopped parsley, tossing gently to coat. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Patting the salmon dry ensures a better sear and prevents sticking.
