Creepy Halloween Spider Web Pizza (Printable Version)

Golden crust pizza with a spooky cheese web and olive spiders, ideal for fun Halloween celebrations.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pizza Base

01 - 1 ball pizza dough (14 to 16 ounces), either homemade or store-bought
02 - 2/3 to 3/4 cup marinara sauce

→ Spider Web Toppings

03 - 4 sticks whole-milk string cheese
04 - 12 large pitted black olives

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set oven to 500°F when using a baking sheet, or to the highest temperature possible for a baking stone or steel. Position stone or steel in the oven before preheating.
02 - Pull string cheese into thin strips. Slice olives in half lengthwise; reserve 8 halves for spider bodies. Slice remaining halves lengthwise into four strips each to form spider legs.
03 - Stretch or roll out pizza dough to a 12- to 14-inch round. Place onto a baking sheet, pizza pan, or a lightly floured pizza peel if using a stone or steel. Prick the entire surface with a fork to minimize air bubbles.
04 - Evenly spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border uncovered around the edge for a visible crust.
05 - Place the prepared dough in the oven and bake until the crust appears dry and lightly golden with bubbling sauce, about 3 minutes for a stone or steel, or 5 minutes for a baking sheet.
06 - Remove pizza from oven. Arrange string cheese strips over the sauce in a spider web pattern. Place reserved olive halves as spider bodies, arranging olive strips as legs around them.
07 - Return pizza to the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes until cheese melts and toppings are heated through.
08 - Remove pizza from oven, allow to cool slightly to set toppings, then cut into wedges and serve.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Ensure cheese is placed on the pizza immediately after par-baking for best melting and appearance.
