# What You'll Need:

→ Banana Bread

01 - ¾ cup granulated sugar
02 - 6 tablespoons salted butter, room temperature
03 - 1½ ripe bananas, mashed (about ½ cup)
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2½ teaspoons whole milk
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - ½ teaspoon baking soda

→ Cream Cheese Filling

08 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
09 - 1 large egg
10 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
11 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
03 - Using a mixer, beat together the granulated sugar and salted butter until fully combined and creamy.
04 - Add mashed bananas, egg, and whole milk to the butter mixture and beat until smooth, about 1 minute.
05 - On low speed, gently mix in the all-purpose flour and baking soda until just combined. Do not overmix. Set batter aside.
06 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, egg, granulated sugar, and all-purpose flour until smooth.
07 - Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the batter. Carefully top with the remaining banana bread batter, distributing evenly without mixing layers.
08 - Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
09 - Allow the loaf to cool completely before slicing and serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Do not overmix the batter to maintain a tender crumb.
