Chicken Parmesan Sliders (Printable Version)

Tender chicken, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese come together on toasted slider buns.

# What You'll Need:

→ Poultry

01 - 2.5 pounds frozen Southern-style chicken breast tenderloins, prepared according to package directions

→ Bread

02 - 15 ounces slider-sized buns (12-count)

→ Sauces and Cheese

03 - 1 1/4 cups jarred marinara sauce
04 - 6 sandwich-sized slices mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

→ Fats and Seasonings

06 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Prepare frozen Southern-style chicken breast tenderloins according to the package directions, typically baking at 425°F for 18-20 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350°F.
02 - Place bottom halves of slider buns into a 9x13-inch baking dish, then spread half of the marinara sauce evenly over them.
03 - Arrange cooked chicken tenderloins in a single layer over the sauced buns, covering as much surface as possible.
04 - Spread the remaining marinara sauce on top of the chicken, then layer the mozzarella slices evenly over the sauce.
05 - Place the top halves of the slider buns onto the assembled layers. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic salt, and dried parsley flakes. Brush half of this mixture over the bun tops.
06 - Bake sliders at 350°F for 13-15 minutes, or until cheese melts and bun tops become lightly toasted.
07 - Remove sliders from oven and brush remaining butter mixture over bun tops. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly across. Slice into 12 servings.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For even cooking, ensure chicken tenderloins are evenly spaced and not overlapping during baking.
