01 -
Set oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
02 -
In a large 12-inch frying pan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and chop into small pieces. Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in pan and discard the rest.
03 -
Add diced onion to pan with reserved bacon grease and cook over medium-high heat until tender, about 5 minutes.
04 -
Stir in ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and cooked bacon. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
05 -
Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Pour in beans and remove ½ cup of the liquid from the cans. Add sauce mixture to beans and stir thoroughly.
06 -
Cover dish with lid or aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
07 -
Remove cover and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes to thicken sauce.
08 -
Let the beans rest for 20 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken further before serving.
