Apple Cranberry Grilled Cheese (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 2 slices thick sourdough bread

→ Cheese

02 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

→ Fruit

03 - 1 medium Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
04 - 1/4 cup dried cranberries

05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Thinly slice the apple and assemble all ingredients before cooking.
02 - Spread unsalted butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
03 - On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half the shredded cheddar, then apple slices, dried cranberries, and top with the remaining cheese. Place the second bread slice on top with buttered side facing up.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwich 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip carefully and grill the other side 3 to 4 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
